Description:
A wonderful conversation with Darren about areas that the foundation can support the schools included how the foundation could have a more prominent role with graduation ceremonies, including purchasing tassles or graduation "cords" that could be in SWMetro colors. These would add standardization to our ceremony (even when a student has their own school color robe to wear) and might allow distinction at the graduation of the student if they seek to participate in graduation back in their resident district.
Also, like how we fund the food for the teacher appreciation, would the foundation fund food for the graduation ceremonies? |
