5.A. Contract for Staffing Service Increase
Description:
Administration requests Board approval to increase an existing agreement with Aya Education for an Occupational Therapist. SOESD has a current contract with Aya. This placement adds $114,750 to that contract.  While contracting allows the SOESD to ensure continuity of services, we are committed to building a stable and consistent workforce. We continuously recruit for this position to hire and retain permanent staff whenever possible.
RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to approve increasing the Aya Education agreement for the services of an occupational therapist, not to exceed $114,750.

5.B. SOESD Surplus Property Declaration
Description:
CFO Jeanetta Woodside will discuss the information regarding the SOESD property surplus.
The items identified on the attached list are hereby declared surplus property of Southern Oregon Education Service District in accordance with Board Policy DN - Disposal of ESD Property.  The property is no longer needed or useful for SOESD operations and is authorized for disposal in accordance with Board policy, applicable Oregon law, and any applicable grant or funding restrictions.
Property: Excess office furniture from 101 N. Grape Street, Medford and 2019 Lars Way, Medford.
Reason: Excess to agency operational needs.
Disposition: Offered to SOESD programs and/or regional schools and nonprofit organizations; remaining items authorized for public sale other other lawful disposal.
