IX. CLOSED SESSION: The Board of Trustees will convene in closed meeting as authorized by the Texas Opens Meeting Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, et seq. for possible:
A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.074 for the board to discuss personnel matters and the roles and responsibilities of a public officer. B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.0821, deliberation on pending litigation involving a public school student in Pleasanton Independent School District v. Student, Before a Special Education Hearing Officer for the State of Texas, Docket No. 113-SE-0623, that will necessarily reveal personally identifiable information that is protected by law. C. The Board may go into closed session on any other item on the agenda not listed as a closed session item if the Board finds it necessary and such closed session is permitted under Chapter 551, Subtitle A, Title 5 of the Texas Government Code. |
X. RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION: The Pleasanton ISD Board of Trustees may take appropriate action regarding appointment, employment evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public office or employee or to hear complaints or charge against a public officer or employee. Gov't Code §551.074, (Personnel Matter) and (Roles and Responsibilities of a Public Officer).
