5.G. Consider and accept the donation from Vernon Auto Group, Chris Slaydon, and Ford Motor Company for athletic facility upgrade in the amount of $100,000 dollars to be paid in 10 monthly installments of $10,000 per month between March 2022 and December 2022.
5.H. Consider and approve Gallagher Construction CM Fee-3% of Projected Fee: Issuing of Schematic Drawings amount of $84,000.00 and CM Fee -5% of Projected Fee: Issuing of Design Development Drawings amount of 140,000.00, with the total amount of $224,000.00
5.I. Discuss and Consider Resolution Authorizing wage payments to employees directed not to report to work and premium pay of employees required to report to work during January 2022 emergency COVID-19 closures.
5.J. Consider and approve changes to the Vernon ISD school calendar due to Covid and bad weather days.

6.F.1. Remind Board Members that the Regular March Board Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3rd, at 6:30 p.m. and the Regular April Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 11th, at 6:30 p.m.
6.F.2. Board Training scheduled for Tuesday, February 22 6:00-8:00 via Zoom.
The topic is College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR), presented by Dr. Brian Bibb, Region 9 ESC's Director of Future Ready.  
This will account for 2 hours of  "Additional Education" requirements. 
6.F.3. A Special Board Meeting will be scheduled in between the February and March board meetings to approve the audit.

Description:  If during the course of the meeting covered by this notice the Board should determine that a closed meeting or session should be held or is required in relation to any item presented to the Board in this agenda, then such Closed Meeting or Session as authorized by Chapter 551, Texas Government Code (the Open Meetings Act) will be held by the Board at that date, hour, and place given in this notice as the Board may conveniently meet in such Closed Meeting or Session concerning any and all subjects and all purposes permitted by Chapter 551, Texas Government Code of said Open Meetings Act including the following sections and purposes:

Texas Government Code Section 551.074 for the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee;  or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee.
