2. The Board of Trustees will meet in closed session with Region 5 Representative(s) to deliberate the selection of a lone finalist for the position of Superintendent of Schools. The Board will deliberate in closed (executive) session, as permitted by Section 551.074(a)(1), Tex. Gov't Code. The Board may, or may not, take action at this Special Meeting to name a lone finalist. If it does take such action, it will do so in open (public) session, according to law.
