1.A.1) 2015-16 Student Registration Process and Timeline Presentation

Dr. Mike Cary, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, presented an update on the 2015-16 student registration process and the timeline associated with student registration, scheduling of classes, staffing, etc.
1.A.2) ATOD (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs) Committee Update

Ron Lake, Climate Coordinator, presented a brief review of past efforts, rationale for addressing this issue, and ideas for a course of action.

2.B. Extended Field Trip Requests

Duluth Public Schools FFA (Future Farmers of America) students will be traveling to the the University of Minnesota Minneapolis and St. Paul Campuses from April 26-28, 2015 to participate in the State Level FFA Competition.  During this event students will use what they have learned in class to participate in student competitons.  They will also participate in leadership activities and tour the University of Minnesota campuses.  The total cost of the trip is $3,160 for students and $540 for staff and will be funded through student fees, grant dollars, and fundraising activities.
2.C. Resolution E-1-15-3231 - Acceptance of Grant Awards to Duluth Public Schools

Attached is Resolution E-1-15-3231 - Acceptance of Grant Awards to Duluth Public Schools, to accept and approve grant awards from the following organizations:
