Description:
The Board of Trustees is committed to the principles of Lone Star Governance (LSG), which emphasize a continuous focus on improving student outcomes through effective governance, clear goal-setting, and meaningful community engagement. As part of this commitment, the Board seeks to conduct structured Listening Sessions with students, families, staff, and community members.
These Listening Sessions are designed to gather authentic feedback on the district’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities related to academic achievement, campus culture, communication, and overall student support systems. The information collected will help the Board better understand stakeholder experiences and identify factors that impact student performance. Feedback gathered through these sessions will be used to inform ongoing monitoring of board-adopted student outcome goals and constraints, strengthen alignment between district practices and community priorities, and support evidence-based decision-making. Hosting Listening Sessions reflect the Board’s dedication to transparency, partnership, and continuous improvement in service of all students. |
