Description:
Tonight, I am proud to recognize our Liberty Hill ISD communications team for their outstanding work and statewide recognition through the 2025 STAR Awards presented by the Texas School Public Relations Association. These awards honor excellence in school communications across Texas, and the entries judged reflected work completed between July 2024 and June 2025. This year, our communications team earned five state-level honors: one Gold Star, three Silver Stars, and our district’s first-ever Crystal Commendation Merit Award.
The Crystal Commendation Merit Award was earned by Chris Stoltz for his photography portfolio. In their profession, this Crystal Commendation category represents the best in multifaceted campaigns and portfolios, and to receive a merit award for state-level recognition is an honor. In addition, Chris earned a Gold Star for the LHHS Soccer FIFA graphic, and Silver Stars for the LHHS Basketball NBA Jam graphic and for Sports Photography featuring the LHHS Basketball Family Reunion. Our team also received a Silver Star for Connect LHTX Magazine, highlighting the collaborative efforts of the entire communications department with the city and the Liberty Hill Independent..
I am proud of our entire communications team for the creativity, strategy, and professionalism they bring to their work every day. Because of their efforts, we continue to tell the Liberty Hill ISD story in a way that reflects the excellence happening across our district — and they are already looking ahead to projects that will represent us well in next year’s awards.
