  • What our committee does:

 

SHAC, or School Health Advisory Council, is responsible for advising school districts on health education and coordinating school health programs by implementing age-appropriate curricula and prevention strategies. Key duties include helping to reflect local community values in health education, promoting the connection between health and learning, and assisting in the development of health and wellness programs for students. This committee is an advisory committee to the board.

  • When is best time to meet? Most meetings will only last 10-15 minutes. 

  • Do we want to do FaceTime meetings?

  • These are public meetings so we cannot cancel without 72 hours' notice. So please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot be here.
