551.071 An executive session will be held for the purpose of having private consultation with the Board's attorney for the purpose of discussing pending or contemplated litigation or a settlement offer, where the duty of counsel to his client, pursuant to the Code of Professional Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas, clearly conflicts with the Act. a. LaRhonda Hunter v. Crockett Independent School District; Civil Action No. 9:10cv137; in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas Lufkin Division; b. Discussion only of coverage denial letter received by Indian Harbor Insurance Company; c. Discussion only of filing of a Coverage Act action against the Indian Harbor Insurance Company; and d. Discussion only of designating legal counsel to represent the district in the LaRhonda Hunter v. Crockett Independent School District. |
