I. CALL TO ORDER FOR 6:30 P.M. SPECIAL CALLED BOARD MEETING

II.A. Announcement by the chairperson whether a quorum is present, and that the meeting has been duly called, and that notice of the meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.

II.B. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance to the American and Texas Flags
|
|
II.C. Pursuant to Section 551.071(2) Tex Gov’t Code, Consult with Legal Counsel in Executive Session Regarding the Voting Rights Act and the 2010 Census Report.
|
|
III. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board may recess the Open Meeting and reconvene in a Closed Meeting for the following reasons and as authorized by the following sections of the Texas Government Code:

|
III.A. Section 551.071(2) – To seek the advice of the Board’s attorney about:
|
|
III.A.1. A Matter in which the Professional Duty of the Attorney to the Board Conflicts with the Applicable Provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act; i.e. the Voting Rights Act and the 2010 Census Report.
|
|
IV. RECONVENE FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION
|
|
IV.A. No final action is contemplated by the Board of Trustees at this Meeting. Legal Counsel may receive directives from the Board to include providing additional information.
