Notice of Order Language: An election is hereby ordered to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, for voting in a General Election to elect one (1) person for each position to serve the full term of three (3) years for two (2) positions (Place 6 and Place 7) on the Board of Trustees for the West Independent School District.

8.C. Discuss and consider Board approval of a West ISD Board Member to take part in the 2025-2026 Leadership TASB Program. [District Goals #1, 4, and 5]
9. Closed Session. Closed Session will be held for the purposes authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq. concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including but not limited to the sections and purposes listed below.
9.A. Consult with legal counsel concerning Cause No. 6:23-cv-000186, pending in the United States District Court, Western District of Texas. (For the purpose of consulting with District counsel on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071.)
9.B. Discuss the Superintendent's Monthly Personnel Report and any Contract Recommendations. (For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074.)
10. Reconvene from Closed Session. The Board will reconvene for possible action relative to items considered during Closed Session.
