3.a)I. To engage in meaningful communication with stakeholders in developing the continuity of services plan that will determine the use of the ARP ESSER III grant funds. The purpose of the grant is to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on students.

3.e)I. (1) The extent to which and how the funds will be used to implement prevention
and mitigation strategies that are, to the greatest extent practicable, consistent
with the most recent CDC guidance on reopening schools, in order to
continuously and safely open and operate schools for in-person learning.
 ESSER Funds do not have to be used for this purpose.
3.e)II. (2) How the LEA will use the funds it reserves (at least 20%) under section
2001(e)(1) of the ARP Act to address the academic impact of lost instructional
time through the implementation of evidence-based interventions, such as
summer learning or summer enrichment, extended day, comprehensive after
school programs, or extended school year;
3.e)III. (3) How the LEA will spend its remaining ARP ESSER funds consistent with
section 2001(e)(2) of the ARP Act; and
3.e)IV. (4) How the LEA will ensure that the interventions it implements, including but
not limited to the interventions implemented under section 2001(e)(1) of the
ARP Act to address the academic impact of lost instructional time, will respond
to the academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of all students,
and particularly those students disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19
pandemic, including students from low-income families, students of color,
English learners, children with disabilities, students experiencing
homelessness, children in foster care, and migratory students.
3.f) Follow Up Items
3.f)I. Instructional Continuity/ Use of Funds plan will be formally written from this meetings’
discussions
3.f)II. The plan will be available for public comment at the July 17, 2023 board meeting.
3.f)III. The plan will be available in Spanish or other languages needed for this community in a written format or through oral translation as noted on the plan.
3.f)IV. The plan will be available in an accessible format for people with disabilities, upon
request.
3.f)V. The plan will be posted on the district website within 30 days of the receipt of the funds.
4. Safe Return to School Plan
4.a) Purpose
4.a)I. Review of current district COVID safety protocols.
4.a)II. Editing or Creation of Plan that must address:
4.a)II.a) Each of the CDC's safety recommendations including::
4.a)II.b) How the LEA will ensure continuity of services, including but not limited to services to address students' academic needs and students' and staff social, emotional, mental health and other needs, which may include student health and food services.
4.a)II.c) Requirement to review the plan at least every 6 months in relation to updated CDC guidance and with public input.
4.a)II.d) How the district will provide the plan in an understandable and uniform format; to the extent practicable, written in a language that parents can understand or, if not practicable, orally translated; and upon request by a parent who is an individual with a disability, provided in an alternative format accessible to that parent.
