A. Section 551.074 - Personnel Matters The Board will discuss the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment,duties,discipline or dismissal of public employees or officials. 1. Review Teacher Probationary Contracts 2. Non Renewal of Teacher Probationary Contracts 3. Pursuant to Section 551.074, Texas Government Code, Deliberations regarding recommendation for termination of probationary contract employee at the end of the current contract year. B. Section 551.076 - Safety and Security - The board is not required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security personnel or devices, or to deliberate a security audit. D. Section 551.072 - Deliberation Regarding Real Property - A governmental body may conduct a closed meeting to deliberate a negotiated contract for a prospective gift or donation to the state or the governmental body if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person. Government Code Section 551.01 et. seq. E. Section 551.071 - Consultation with Attorney Closed Meeting Consultation with District's legal counsel Closed Session - Trustees will adjourn into Closed Session as permitted by Texas Government Code 551.071 regarding legal and procedural matters involving pending or contemplated litigation. |
