7. Closed Session - Trustees will adjourn into Closed Session as permitted by Texas Government Code Section 551.01 et. seq.
A. Section 551.074 - Personnel Matters The Board will discuss the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment,duties,discipline or dismissal of public employees or officials. B. Section 551.0821 - Personally Identifiable Student Information: The Board is not required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate a matter regarding a student if personally identifiable information about the student will necessarily be revealed by the deliberation. Personally identifiable information includes directory information if a parent or guardian of the student, or the student if the student has attained 18 years of age, has informed the district that the directory information should not be released without prior consent. However, the board may not conduct a closed meeting for this purpose if the students parent or guardian or the student, having attained 18 years of age, makes a written request for an open deliberation. C. Section 551.074 - Deliberation Regarding Real Property A governmental body may conduct a closed meeting to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person. |
8. Consider and take action on matters resulting from closed session if any, as listed pursuant to Sections 551.071, 551.072 and 551.074 of the Texas Government Code.
