This brings us into alignment with the State Department of Education guidance. In contracts and line item bidding as acceptable contract types along with firm fixed price contracts.

Description:
This update is based on Senate Bill 1118, which changes the dollar amount thresholds for different public works contracting processes. Specifically, it shifts the cost ranges for different purchasing practices higher, allowing the less complex processes for higher-cost contracts than they were previously allowed for.
