Description:
To alleviate the class sizes in Kindergarten and 1st grade during the 2026-2027 school year, administration is recommending the addition of 1.0 FTE to the elementary to provide instruction in a multi-age K-1 classroom.

Description:
The district received notice of a grant award for a summer agriculture program. This will run half days from June 6 - Aug 6. 

The grant offer is $3,622.17 for FY2026 and $3,694.69 for FY2027

Summer Ag Program:
  • 9-12th graders
  • Project based learning centered on agriculture.
  • Students can earn up to 2 credits from their expressed area of interest or need including: agriculture, math, science, social studies, English
  • Staffing:
    • Agriculture teacher - covered by YST and summer ag grant with no additional cost to the district.
    • English, Math, Science, and Social Studies - Covered by targeted services dollars, paid 1 year after service is provided.
