Rationale:

Members of the Killingly community are encouraged to share their thoughts with the Board of Education and are invited to do so during this segment of the meeting. When appropriate to do so, members of the Board and the administration may respond to comments. However, in consideration of those in attendance and in an effort to proceed in a timely manner, follow-up discussion may need to take place outside of the meeting setting.

Rationale:
FOLK was formed by members of the Class of 1966. In 1998, members of the class generously set up  an endowment fund to give back to the Killingly school community.  2019 marks FOLK's 20-year Anniversary of grantmaking.  Annual  enrichment grants are awarded to support innovative school-based projects for Killingly students. Thousands of Killingly youngsters have benefited from the 149 grants that FOLK has awarded .
