Members of the Killingly community are encouraged to share their thoughts with the Board of Education and are invited to do so during this segment of the meeting. When appropriate to do so, members of the Board and the administration may respond to comments. However, in consideration of those in attendance and in an effort to proceed in a timely manner, follow-up discussion may need to take place outside of the meeting setting.

10.A. National FFA Convention Trip in Indianapolis, IN, Oct. 24-28 2017
Rationale:
10  selected students (2 of whom are graduates and they will travel on thier own) and 2 chaperones (Ken Couture and Bonnie Kegler) will be attending the annual National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN, on October 24 through October 28.  The students will  represent the Killingly FFA Chapter and attend convention sessions, leadership workshops and the career show. Students had to apply to be selected for the trip and most are chapter officers.  They will also participate in the FFA National Day of Service by graduates, and receive the FFA highest award, the American FFA Degree on Saturday morning.
