I. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the Mile Creek School phase II plans for the State PCR meeting.
 
Rationale:
From SP&A:
The Mile Creek School project final PCR for Phase 2 is scheduled for 6/25/24.

The linked below drawings (vol 1&2) and attached project manual specifications (vol 2&3) are for the Phase 2 of the Mile Creek School addition and renovations project (the last Mile Creek set was just Phase 1 for the electrical switchgear and generator).
The complete 100% CD Phase 2 set includes the following scope for your review:
The scope for this project includes an 8,600-sf one-story classroom addition, creating a new courtyard and connection between an existing classroom wing to the gymnasium wing, upgrades to the school’s HVAC system and associated MEP renovations. In addition to the new HVAC system and associated renovations scope includes code compliance upgrades to existing toilet rooms and site access, security design at the main entry vestibule, and the design of a new fire protection system for the entire school.
  • New 8,600 sf building addition to southwest corner of existing building with 4 new classrooms, faculty conference, workroom & toilets, connection to gymnasium & new courtyard preserving existing gazebo
  • Small addition (75sf) and Security glazing upgrades to existing entrance vestibule
  • Code/ADA compliant upgrades to existing bathrooms (vertical grab bars)
  • HVAC, Fire Protection, ceiling & finish renovations throughout school
  • New BMS & electric rooftop DOAS unit heat pumps, new VAV system, exposed ductwork in vaulted ceilings, renovate existing perimeter hot water heating to supplement new air system, replace existing boiler with new high efficiency oil boiler, existing oil tanks
  • New 1,600amp, 480Y/277V - 3 phase electrical service, 350KW, 480Y/277V - 3 Phase generator and 30,000-gallon underground water tank and pump house to support the new fire protection system
  • Renovation of front (North) side of site with new bus drop & parking for 120
  • Renovation to east side parent drop off area
  • New stormwater drainage systems above & below ground
