Texas Government Code 551.071/551.072 Deliberations with legal counsel regarding the proposed purchase of a 0.1447 acre (6,304.68 sq. ft.) tract of land more or less with improvements being out of Lot Seven (7), Block Thirty-Five (35), a Original Townsite of Roma, Starr County, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 2, Pages 223-A and 223-B, Map Records, Starr County, Texas and related issues. |
24. Discussion, consideration, and possible action to adopt a resolution authorizing the Superintendent to engage in negotiations for the purchase of a 0.1447 acre (6,304.68 sq. ft.) tract of land more or less with improvements being out of Lot Seven (7), Block Thirty-Five (35), Original Townsite of Roma, Starr County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 2, Pages 223-A and 223-B, Map Records, Starr County, Texas for the purpose of additional parking near FJ Scott Elementary School, and authorizing the Superintendent to execute a sales contract regarding the same, subject to satisfactory completion of due diligence inspections, and authorizing the Superintendent to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the same, subject to legal review.
