12. Approval of Consent Agenda 
In order to promote efficient meetings, the Board may act upon more than one item by single vote through the use of the consent agenda.  Consent items shall be items placed on the Agenda for which no Board discussion is anticipated and for which the Superintendent recommends approval.  Prior to the meeting, at the request of any member of the Board of Trustees, any item on the consent agenda shall be removed and given individual consideration.  Requests for individual consideration are made prior to Board meetings and requests must be directed to either the Board President or the Superintendent.

Approval for the superintendent to properly seek bids and contract a vendor to install motors for the gates that will be installed as part of the fence project.  The estimated cost will be $150,000.  Should the cost of a change order exceed $25,000 over the approved amount, the superintendent will seek board approval for the new amount.

Approval for the superintendent to properly seek bids and contract a vendor to install an upgraded entry system for doors and gates throughout the school district as part of the security upgrade project.  The estimated cost will be $150,000.  Should the cost of a change order exceed $25,000 over the approved amount, the superintendent will seek board approval for the new amount. 
12.G. Approval to purchase and upgrade projectors for the classrooms. Total cost: $49,315.00

Section 551.072 – To deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.

Section 551.074 – For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee.
