3. Due to inclement weather and the uncertainty of continued power outages as a result of the inclement weather there shall be consideration, discussion, and possible action on the revamping of the current school calendar and employee work schedules.

4. Consideration, discussion, and possible action on payroll issues for hourly employees and contracted personnel as a result of the weather and power outage related closures.

(The public is invited to present issues of public concern. Board members can not respond to public comments; however, they may request that an item be placed on the agenda for discussion at the next board meeting). |

6. Closed Session or Meeting as authorized by Section 551.001 et seq of the Texas Government Code (The Open Meetings Act), under the following provisions:
Section 551.071 – Consultation with School Attorney on matters in which the duty of the Attorney to the Governmental Body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas. Section 551.072 – To deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property. Section 551.074 – For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee. |

Description:
Be allowed to pay hourly employees even though we were closed due to weather related issues, and for the employees that did have to go in, pay them an additional .5 of their hourly rate for the hours worked during the school closure.
For contracted employees, give them credit for the days during which the school was closed versus having them make up the days at the end of the year or at a later time. |
