12. Recommend a program change and reduction in force in a effort to improve the efficiency of the District by eliminating a full time equivalent position. The position to be affected and eliminated is the Special Programs Coordinator and, thereafter for the 2014-2015 school year, the duties and responsibilities shall be assumed by the Superintendent. Section 551.071 – Consultation with School Attorney on matters in which the duty of the Attorney to the Governmental Body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas. Section 551.072 – To deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property. Section 551.074 – For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee. |

Description:
In order to promote efficient meetings, the Board may act upon more than one single vote through the use of the consent agenda. Consent items shall be items placed on the Agenda for which no Board discussion is anticipated and for which the Superintendent recommends approval. Prior to the meeting, at the request of any member of the Board of Trustees, any items on the consent agenda shall be removed and given individual consideration. Requests for individual consideration are made prior to Board meetings and requests must be directed to either the Board President or the Superintendent.
