I.A. Somerset ISD will hold Budget Workshop #3 at 6:00 P.M., on Monday, August 11, 2014 for the purpose of discussing the school district's budget for the 2014-2015 school year.

THIS MEETING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND ALL CITIZENS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND.

The Board will begin its regular monthly Board meeting following the Budget Workshop.

IX.C. Discussion and possible action to review and approve the eligibility requirements for performanced-based compensations for faculty and staff eligible under the Teacher Incentive Fund Grant (TIF) and local district initiative under the Teacher Advancement Program (TAP).
IX.D. Discussion and possible action to review and approve the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) as the instructional Material adoption for grades 7 and 8 not to exceed the cost of $64,089.42.
IX.E. Discussion and possible action to review and approve the the mathematics professional development for Investigations grade 5 and Connected Mathematics Program grades 6 - 9 for the cost of $10,500.00.
IX.F. Discussion and possible action to review and approve the 2014-2015 College Preparatory Mathematics and English Language Arts Courses Memorandum of Understanding between and Alamo Community College District and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
IX.G. Discussion and possible action to review and approve the Shared Services Agreement with the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) at South San Antonio ISD and approval to expend funds for services for the 2014-2015 school year not to exceed the amount of $50,000.00.
IX.H. Discussion and possible action to review and approve the Aprotex Corporation to continue and provide building security and fire alarm monitoring services for the District with the exception of Savannah Heights Intermediate School not to exceed the annual amount of $20,916.00.
IX.I. Discussion and possible  action to review and approve the Worker's Compensation Solutions' year two of the three year addendum to the renewal inter-local agreement not to exceed the amount of $127,644.00.

Discussion and possible action to review and approve the renewal of the Student Accident and Athletic Insurance for the 2014-2015 school year with Fidelity Security Life (Texas Kids First) on the base plan, as the company that can provide the "Best Value" to the District at a cost of $34,900.00.

Discussion and possible action to review and approve the renewal of the Catastrophic Student Accident and Athletic Insurance for the 2014-2015 school year withTexas Kids First (Zurich-American Insurance Company) as the company that can provide the "Best Value" to the District at a cost of $2,268.00
IX.L. Discussion and possible action to review and approve the renewal of Texas Association of Public Schools (T.A.P.S) as the vendor to provide the Property and Casualty Insurance to protect the District's Assets at a cost of $192,991.00.
IX.M. Discussion and possible action regarding the approval  to adopt an order authorizing the proposed issuance and sale of obligations to be designated as "Somerset Independent School District Unlimited Tax Refunding Bonds, Series 2014."
IX.N. Discussion and possible action regarding the approval of the Somerset ISD Monthly Financial Report, Monthly Investment Report and Quarterly Investment Report for April 2014 to June 2014 .
