XVI. Consider local district revisions to board policy CH(local)
Description:
This policy sets the maximum spending limit for the superintendent without board approval. Presently that is set at $5000.00. This number puts us in conflict with our own policy for at least one regular utility bill that normally exceeds this amount. The standard/legal amount that most boards give to the superintendent is $25,000.00. My recommendation is to return to this amount. Most of the time you will know of any expenditure that is over $10.000.00 minus utility bills.
