The Board will go into a closed meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, under the following Texas Government Code Sections: 551.074 to consider resignations, to deliberate appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee; Superintendent Contract; 551.074, 551.01, 551.129 to deliberate the duties of public officer or employee, including delegation of Board authority to Superintendent on matters related to the operation of schools during COVID-19 pandemic; consult with legal counsel regarding same if necessary; 551.072 to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property; 551.076 deliberation regarding Safety and Security.
