8. The Board will go into a closed meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, under the following Texas Government Code Sections:

Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, consult with legal counsel on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas requires confidentiality, including: (1) ongoing matters pertaining to recent campus investigation into hazing allegations; (2) potential revision of student code of conduct, board operating procedures, administrative regulations, and local policy as needed; (3) recent investigation into allegations of misconduct by assistant principal and follow-up action; (4) mid-year compensation matters pertaining to contract and at-will employees; (5) any other topic included on the agenda as permitted by law.

8.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, consider and discuss evaluation of Superintendent and roles and responsibilities of Board members.

8.C. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.082 and 551.0821, deliberate regarding a matter involving discipline of a public school child or on a matter requiring the disclosure of personally identifiable information about a public school student.

9. Return to open meeting and take action, if any, resulting from closed session deliberations.
