9. The Board will go into a closed meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, consult with legal counsel on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas requires confidentiality, including: (1) recent campus investigation, response to investigation, and necessary follow-up action; (2) potential revision of student code of conduct, board operating procedures, administrative regulations, and local policy as needed; (3) pending or potential open records matters; and (4) any other topic included on the agenda or permitted by law. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, including administrative, board member, and law enforcement roles and responsibilities. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.082, deliberate regarding a matter involving discipline of a public school child. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.0821, deliberate on a matter requiring the disclosure of personally identifiable information about a public school student.
