Notice and Agenda of a Public Meeting of the Governing Board of the Oracle Elementary School District #2 Monday, March 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM located at Mt. Vista K-8 School Growth Room, 2618 W El Paseo, Oracle, AZ 85623 and via Zoom, Meeting ID 964 544 1210, Passcode OracleESD2 Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is given to the general public that the Governing Board of Oracle Elementary School District #2 will hold a public meeting. The Governing Board may change the order of the items listed in the Agenda. The Governing Board may vote to go into Executive Session, which will not be open to the public, to discuss certain matters. Governing Board Members will attend either in person or by telephonic conference call. The Board may discuss, consider or decide only matters listed on the agenda and other matters related thereto.

Description:
Assessed property values are brought to the Governing Board each year as an "information only" section in the Consent Agenda. The assessed values are the overall value of properties in our school district. Our local tax rate is decided each July and is multiplied by the assessed value amounts.

Description:
Once approved by the Governing Board in the Consent Agenda, the Gifted Education Scope and Sequence will be uploaded to the Arizona Department of Education (ADE).

Description:
The District's grants management system was recently audited by the Arizona Department of Education (ADE). The only finding/recommendation is to update District Policy DJE and/or DJE-R by April 30, 2025. The audit determination letter is below, for information only. The Policy update will be included in Agenda Item 8.
