Approval of possible over-expenditure of budget subsections of the FY 22/23 Annual Expenditure Budget, should it become necessary. The M&O (Maintenance and Operation) Budget has 3 subsections - Regular Education, Special Education and Transportation. In the event that one or two of the subsections of the M&O budget need to be overspent, authorization is required by the Governing Board according to statute. This over expenditure would not overspend the M&O budget; it would only apply to one or two of the three subsections. The district does not anticipate the need to overspend any of the subsections; this action is needed to support the financial requirements and needs of the district.

Notice and Agenda of a Public Meeting of the Governing Board of the Oracle Elementary School District #2 Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 3:00 PM located at Mt. Vista K-8 School, Room N6, 2618 W El Paseo, Oracle, AZ 85623 and via Zoom, Meeting ID 964 544 1210, Passcode OracleESD2 Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is given to the general public that the Governing Board of Oracle Elementary School District #2 will hold a public meeting. The Governing Board may change the order of the items listed in the Agenda. The Governing Board may vote to go into Executive Session, which will not be open to the public, to discuss certain matters. Governing Board Members will attend either in person or by telephonic conference call. The Board may discuss, consider or decide only matters listed on the agenda and other matters related thereto.

Description:
The Governing Board welcomes communication from residents of the District and has provided a specific place on the agenda for the public to address the Board on any concerns within the jurisdiction of the Governing Board. We do ask that everyone limit their comments to three minutes so that all those who wish to speak may have the opportunity to do so.
If an item has not been listed on the posted agenda, the Board, by law, cannot discuss it or take legal action on it. At the conclusion of the open call to the public, individual Board members may 1.) Respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Board, 2.) Ask staff to review a matter or 3.) Ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. We are required by law to record in the meeting minutes the names of those who speak, so the name of the person speaking will be recorded before the Board is addressed. |

Vista K-8 School and to review Superintendent’s Evaluation Tool, Oracle Ridge Timeline, Superintendent’s Performance Goals, District Goals, and Board Meeting Norms.
