Advisories are provided by the Arizona School Board Assiciation and reflect changes in Arizona laws from the 55th Arizona Legislature.
12. Discussion and request for approval of an updated Superintendent’s Evaluation Tool based on recommendations from Arizona School Boards Association to be used during calendar year 2023.

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is given to the general public that the Governing Board of Oracle Elementary School District #2 will hold a public meeting. The Governing Board may change the order of the items listed in the Agenda. The Governing Board may vote to go into Executive Session, which will not be open to the public, to discuss certain matters. Governing Board Members will attend either in person or by telephonic conference call.  The Board may discuss, consider or decide only matters listed on the agenda and other matters related thereto.

Description:
The Governing Board welcomes communication from residents of the District and has provided a specific place on the agenda for the public to address the Board on any concerns within the jurisdiction of the Governing Board.  We do ask that everyone limit their comments to three minutes so that all those who wish to speak may have the opportunity to do so.

If an item has not been listed on the posted agenda, the Board, by law, cannot discuss it or take legal action on it.  At the conclusion of the open call to the public, individual Board members may 1.) Respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Board, 2.) Ask staff to review a matter or 3.) Ask that a matter be put on a future agenda.

We are required by law to record in the meeting minutes the names of those who speak, so the name of the person speaking will be recorded before the Board is addressed.

January 5, 2023 at 6:00 PM: Regular Meeting of the Governign Board and annual Organizational Meeting.  This meeting must be held before January 15, 2023.  To be held at Mountain Vista K-8 School, Room N4 and on Zoom.

At this time, Governing Board Members may request items to be considered and included on the agenda of a future meeting.
