VI.A.1. The Hidalgo ISD Fine Arts is requesting permission to travel over night to Corpus Christi/Orange Grove, Texas to compete at the ATSSB All Area/State Band auditions on January 11 -12, 2019.  
VI.A.2. The Hidalgo Fine Arts Department is requesting permission for the Pirate Indoor Color Guard to travel overnight to New Braunfels, Texas on February 1-2, 2019.  They are competing at the Winter Guard International (WGI) Regional at Canyon HS in New Braunfels. Texas.
VI.A.3. The Hidalgo Fine Arts Department is requesting permission for the students advancing to All State round to travel to San Antonio to compete in the All State Band on February 13-16, 2019.
VI.A.4. The Hidalgo Fine Arts is requesting permission for the HECHS Mariachi "Nuevas Raices" to travel to San Antonio, Texas on February 7 to 8, 2019 to compete at the TAME State Mariachi Contest.
VI.A.5. The Hidalgo Fine Arts Department is requesting permission for the Pirate Marching Band to participate in the Bands of America McAllen Regionals on September 21, 2019.  This is a local event.
VI.A.6. The Hidalgo Fine Arts Department is requesting permission for the Pirate Marching Band to travel to San Antonio from November 1-3, 2019 to compete at the Bands of America (BOA) San Antonio Super Regional at the Alamo-dome in San Antonio.
VI.A.7. Dr. Alejo Salinas Jr. Elementary is requesting permission for the 5th grade students to travel to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas for their end of yer field trip on Monday, May 20, 2019
