VIII.A. We recommend Holly Plowman attend the (NISEC) Northern Indiana Education Center’s Building Scientifically Based Literacy Building Blocks on May 16, 2024, at Hobart High School with expenses paid from the Title IIA fund.

 
VIII.B. We recommend Natasha Johnson virtually attend the PLTW (Project Lead the Way) PLTW Launch Teacher Training on June 3-4, 2024, with expenses paid from the Title IIA fund.
 
VIII.C. We recommend Aaron Smith take the CDW Amplified Admin Level 2 online training course with expenses paid from the Operations Fund.
 
VIII.D. We recommend Regin Johnson, Linda Hobock, and Victoria Pliego attend the Wabash Valley Educational Centers’ Spring Title III Meeting on May 8-9, 2024, in Lafayette, IN. with expenses paid from the EL Find.
VIII.E. We recommend Martie Murphy attend the NexTech 2024 CSPD (Computer Science Professional Development) week on June 10-14, 2024, in Bloomington, IN. with expenses paid from the Title IIA fund.
 
VIII.F. We recommend Sam Miestowski attend the South Shore Arts Paint Pour Galore on Saturdays, June 1, 2024 - July 6, 2024, in Munster, IN. with expenses paid from the Title IIA Fund.
 
VIII.G. We recommend Adrian Wilkerson, Christina Akers, and Jessica Gibbs attend the IASBO (Indiana Association of School Business Officials) on May 8-10, 2024, in French Lick, IN. with expenses paid from the Operations Fund.

All new employment to Lake Ridge New Tech Schools is contingent upon a cleared Expanded Criminal History Background Check within 30 days and a cleared Expanded Child Protection Index Check within 60 days of effective date.  IC 20-26-2-1.5 and IC 20-26-2-1.3
IX.A. We recommend accepting Mike Brady’s retirement request from the Financial Literacy Teacher position at the conclusion of the 2023-2024 school year.
 
IX.B. We recommend Jonathan Nwannunu be employed as the School Counselor at Lake Ridge New Tech Middle School effective April 23, 2024.
 
IX.C. We recommend Terrence Jackson be employed as the Junior Varsity Baseball Coach for the 2023-2024 athletic season.
 
IX.D. We recommend Antoine Scroggins be employed as a Fifth Teacher at Lake Ridge New Tech Middle School effective April 23,2024.
 
IX.E. We recommend Anthony Wilson be employed as an Instructional Coach at Lake Ride New Tech Middle School effective April 4, 2024.
