I. Consider adoption of a Resolution approving the sale of Old Campbellton School Property described as follows: Lots 23, 24 and 25 in the Town of Campbellton, Atascosa County, Texas, as per map or plat of said Town of Campbellton, of record in the Plat Records of Atascosa County, Texas, in Volume 34, page 28, approving the execution of the Real Estate Sales Contract, and authorizing for the Board President to sign the Deed and all Closing Documents.

II. Executive session for attorney consultation pursuant to Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Section 551.071(2), regarding legal issues associated with the lawsuit entitled R.D. Wells Investments, L.L.C. v. Pleasanton Independent School District and M.W. Cude Engineers, L.L.C.

III. Executive session will be held pursuant to Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Section 551.074 to interview applicants for the position of Superintendent.
Note: The Board will also meet on November 5, 2011, 9:00 a.m. in executive session to interview applicants for the position of Superintendent, these interviews will be posted in accordance with applicable law. Following the November 5th meeting, the Board may decide to hold a second round of interviews in executive session, Tuesday, November 15th and Saturday, November 19th to determine the semifinalists; if it does so, these interviews will be posted in accordance with applicable law. After interviewing the applicants the Board anticipates that it will meet in regular session on Tuesday, November 22nd and name the lone finalist, which meeting will be posted in accordance with applicable law. If that does occur, the 21 day waiting period will begin and it is anticipated that the new Superintendent will report to work on January 2, 2012. |
