1) Call to order Open Session in the Board Room of the Lovenberg Administration Building, 3904 Avenue T, Galveston, Texas.

2) Citizen's Request to Address the Board on Agenda and Non-Agenda Items. Please complete sign-up sheets available in the lobby prior to the start of the meeting.

|
3) The Board may recess into Closed Executive Session in the Library as permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act Government Code Sections 551.071- 551.090 Subchapter D and E.
Should any final action, final decision, or final vote be required in the opinion of the School Board with regard to any matter considered in such closed meeting then the final action, final decision, or final vote shall be either: A) in the open meeting covered by the Notice upon the reconvening of the public meeting; or B) at a subsequent public meeting of the School Board upon notice thereof; as the School Board shall determine. A) To meet in closed session pursuant to Government Code §551.071 to consult with legal counsel on all any or all subject or matters authorized. B) To meet in closed session pursuant to Government Code §551.074 to discuss Superintendent performance, employment status, contract and related matters. |

If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E. Before any closed meeting is convened, the presiding officer will publicly identify the section or sections of the Act authorizing the closed meeting. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting.
