1. Board Training Workshop - the workshop and training session is to fulfill the requirements for board-superintendent teambuilding training under the Texas Administrative Code 19 TAC 61.1(b)(2).
The entire board will participate with the superintendent in this teambuilding workshop. The goal is to enhance the effectiveness of the board-superintendent team, and to assess the team's continuing education needs. This assessment will be used to plan continuing education activities for the year. This training shall also represent one component of the superintendent's ongoing professional development. The workshop will last a minimum of three hours; no action will be taken.
2. Consideration and Possible Action Approving the Continued Retention of the Following Professional Services (expert witnesses) and Fee Schedules for Amarillo Independent School District v. The Travelers Lloyds Insurance Company, Case No. 2:15-CV-0155-J, pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Amarillo Division:  Rocco Calaci, MetLoop Precision Weather Technologies; Seth Kelm, Air Clinic Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc.; John Minor, Complete General Contractors, Inc.; and Steven Thomas, Roof Leak Detection Company, Inc.  These experts have consulted and continue to consult with the District on causation and damage matters.
