RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education accepts the resignation of Mrs. Jennifer Baker (5th Grade Math Teacher), with regret effective July 6, 2018.

RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education accepts the resignation of Mrs. Diane Snyder (Cafeteria Aide), with regret effective June 27, 2018.
E.3. Approve Cafeteria Aide
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves Diane Halpin as Cafeteria Aide for the 2018-2019 school year from 11:16 am to 12:50 pm at a rate of $4,692.00 per year (subject to adjustment after settlement of contract).
E.4. Approve Fifth Grade Math Teacher
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the employment, of Mrs. Tracy Kephart as Fifth Grade Math Teacher for the 2018-2019 school year beginning August 29, 2018.

FURTHER RESOLVED, Mrs. Kephart will placed on the Step 1BA of the 2017-2018 HTEA Salary guide, $50,872 (subject to adjustment after settlement of contract).
E.5. Approve Seventh Grade Science Teacher
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the employment, of Ms. Melanie Byrne as Seventh Grade Science Teacher for the 2018-2019 school year beginning August 29, 2018.

FURTHER RESOLVED, Ms. Byrne will placed on the Step 3BA of the 2017-2018 HTEA Salary guide, $51,872 (subject to adjustment after settlement of contract).
E.6. Approve Handle with Care
RESOLVED that the upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves Josi Garcia and Sarah Wageman to conduct the Handle with Care workshop in August 2018.

FURTHER RESOLVED the Holland Township Board of Education approves a maximum of 12 hours each at the negotiated rate in the Summer.

RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the following staff to attend a one day Handle with Care Training in August 2018:

F.1. Approve Account Reduction
RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Holland Township School District Board of Education must choose from the following options to account for the reduction in State Aid of $50,130 for the 2018-2019 school year.

1. Use unassigned general fund surplus to maintain budgeted appropriations; or
2. Request Commissioner approval to withdraw from emergency reserve; or
3. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A: 23A-14.2(d), withdraw from maintenance reserve to cover budgeted required maintenance costs; or
4. Reduce appropriations for 2018-19; or
5. A combination of 1,2,3, and 4 above.
F.2. BOBCAT SKID STEER LOADER
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent that the Holland Township Board of Education approves the purchase of a 49 HP Bobcat Skid-Steer Loader at a cost of $31,950.06 through the ESCNJ COOP Grounds Equipment Bid for the maintenance department of Holland Township School.

WHEREAS the “Open Public Meetings Act” (Chapter 231 Laws of 1975) authorizes a public body to exclude the public from that portion of a meeting at which specified topics are to be discussed under circumstances where the public consideration of such topics will clearly endanger the public or where the personal privacy or guaranteed rights of individuals whose activities or affairs are to be discussed would clearly in danger of unwarranted invasion; be it
