Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board approve the Regular minutes of September 25, 2018 meeting, Executive Meeting minutes of September 25, 2018.
H.2.  Finance 
1) Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board approve the transfers for the month ending September 30, 2018 as submitted by the Superintendent, as authorized by N.J.S.A. 18A:22-8.1. (Sub items 1, 2 and 3 will be agenda items for the November 27th, 2018 board meeting)

2) To accept the Holland Township Board of Education's certification that the Superintendent, Stephanie Snyder, recommends that the Board of Education accept the monthly financial reports of the Board Secretary and the Treasurer of School Moneys for the month ending September  2018 and he recommends in compliance with N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(3) that the Board of Education certify that no major account or fund has been overexpended and that as of this report sufficient funds are available to meet the District's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.  

3) Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board accept the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary's, Brian McCarthy certification as required by N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(d), that no line item account has been over expended as of  September 30, 2018, and that as of this date sufficient funds are available to meet the District's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.
H.3. Bill List 
Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board approve the Bill List dated September 30, 2018 check number N0344, in the amount of $307,387.63 and the bill list dated October 16, 2018 check numbers N0345 thru 08431  in the amount of $434,505.24.

L.1. Accept Superintendent's Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying Report
RESOLVED that the Holland Township Board of Education accepts the Superintendent's Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying report for September 18, 2018 to October 9, 2018  and affirms the actions of the administration.
L.2. Approve Field Trips
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the following field trips:

•Kutztown University
•Dorney Park
•Riegel Ridge
L.3. Approve the Acceptance of Dictionaries from Spring Mills Grange
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education accepts a donation of forty-seven (47) dictionaries from the Spring Mills Grange No. 120 National Grange’s “Project Graduation” to be distributed to third grade students.The Board recognizes and thanks the Spring Mills Grange for their continued and generous support of our school district.
L.4. Approve Nursing Service Plan
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the Nursing Service Plan for the 2018-2019 School Year.
L.5. Approve School Bus Emergency Evacuation Drill Statement
RESOLVED that the Holland Township Board of Education accepts the following statement for the School Bus Emergency Evacuation Drill as per 6A:27-11.2;

WHEREAS, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 the Holland Township School Principal Dr. Nancy Yard oversaw the school bus emergency evacuation drill for all bus routes.The drill was held at approximately 8:17 AM for the elementary school students and at approximately 9:05 AM for the middle school students in the front of the school in the bus unloading area.
L.6. Approve Applying to NJ Sustainability for Schools/NJEA Grant
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the NJ Sustainable for Schools/NJEA Grant applications in the amounts of $2,000 and $10,000 to support and foster the STEM Education at Holland Township School.
L.7. Approve Calendar for 2019-2020 School Year
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the 2019-2020 school calendar.

M.1. Approve Substitutes
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the following substitutes for the 2018-2019 school year:

•Justine Doran: Teacher/Aide (pending substitute certificate and criminal history) 
M.2. Approve Mentor
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves Mrs. Stephanie Kane as mentor for Mrs. Tracy Kephart for the 2018-2019 school year.

FURTHER RESOLVED, payments to the mentor and payroll deductions from the Provisional Teacher in the amount of $550 will be processed as per the guideline in the 2018-2019 Mentoring Plan.
M.3. Approve Resignation
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves with regret the resignation of Ms. Heather Sorge (Aide) effective October 18, 2018. 
M.4. Approval of Girls Basketball Coach
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves Ms. Justine Doran (pending substitute certificate and criminal history as girls basketball coach with a stipend of $3,563.
M.5. Approve Volunteer
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves Kaityln Doran as a volunteer to assist Ms. Justine Doran (Coach) with Girls Basketball (pending criminal history).
M.6. Approve Change in Hours
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the change in hours for Mrs. Emily Martin from part time at 24.75 hours/week (FTE 0.68) PreSchool Teacher to full time PreSchool Teacher effective on or about November 12, 2018.  Mrs. Martin's placement on the salary guide is unchanged, however she now qualifies for health benefits.
