F.1. Approval of Minutes 
Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board approve the Regular minutes of the September 26, 2017 meeting and the Executive Session  minutes of September 26, 2017.
F.2.  Finance 
1) Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board approve the transfers for the month ending August 31, 2017 as submitted by the Superintendent, as authorized by N.J.S.A. 18A:22-8.1. 

2) To accept the Holland Township Board of Education's certification that the Superintendent, David Bailey, recommends that the Board of Education accept the monthly financial reports of the Board Secretary and the Treasurer of School Moneys for the month ending August 31, 2017, and he recommends in compliance with N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(3) that the Board of Education certify that no major account or fund has been overexpended and that as of this report sufficient funds are available to meet the District's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.  

3) Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board accept the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary's, Maureen Joyce, certification as required by N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(d), that no line item account has been over expended as of  August 31, 2017 and that as of this date sufficient funds are available to meet the District's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.
F.3. Bill List 
Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board approve the Bill List dated September 30, 2017 check numbers N0310 thru N0311, in the amount of $619,249.13 and October 17, 2017, check numbers 07228 thru 07319, in the amount of $266,182.22.

F.4. Travel and Related Expenses Reimbursement
Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools that the Board approve work-related and related expenses reimbursement for the following staff members that is directly related to and within the scope of their current work responsibilities, promotes the delivery of instruction, and is critical to the instructional needs of the School District or furthers the efficient operation of the School District, and is educationally necessary and fiscally prudent.

RESOLVED that the Holland Township Board of Education accepts the Superintendent's Harassment, Intimidation, Bullying report for September 20, 2017 - October 12, 2017 and affirms the actions of the administration.
K.2. Approve Field Trips
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the following field trips:

K.3. Approve Nursing Service Plan
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the Nursing Service Plan for the 2017-2018 School Year.
K.4. Approve School Bus Emergency Evacuation Drill Statement
RESOLVED that the Holland Township Board of Education accepts the following statement for the School Bus Emergency Evacuation Drill as per 6A:27-11.2;

WHEREAS, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 the Holland Township School Principal Dr. Nancy Yard oversaw the school bus emergency evacuation drill for all bus routes.  The drill was held at approximately 8:17 AM for the elementary school students and at approximately 9:05 AM for the middle school students in the front of the school in the bus unloading area.
K.5. Approve NJQSAC Statement of Assurance
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the NJQSAC Statement of Assurance for the 2017-2018 school year.  The NJQSAC SOA will be submitted to the Department of Education.
K.6. Approve the Acceptance of Dictionaries from Spring Mills Grange
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education accepts a donation of fifty-eight (58) dictionaries from the Spring Mills Grange No. 120 National Grange’s “Project Graduation” to be distributed to third grade students.  The Board recognizes and thanks the Spring Mills Grange for their continued and generous support of our school district.
K.7. Approve Health and Physical Education Curriculum
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves the Health and Physical Education Curriculum aligned to the New Jersey learning standards.
L. PERSONNEL
L.1. Approve Interim Business Administrator/Board Secretary
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves executing the contract of employment between the Holland Township Board of Education and Ms. Julie Mumaw, Interim Business Administrator/Board Secretary, from October 21, 2017 through June 30, 2018 at a rate of $450 per day, as per the contract terms and conditions.
L.2. Appointment of Officers/Appointments
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education appoints the following official  for the period October 21, 2017 through June 30, 2017:

L.3. Approve Additional Hours
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves Ms. Julie Mumaw for up to 10 hours at a rate $56.25 per hour not to exceed $562.50 during the week of October 16-20, 2017.  This will ensure a smooth and orderly transition of the Business Administrator position.
L.4. Accept Resignation
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education accepts Mr. Alan Schedlbauer's resignation as Girls Basketball Coach for the 2017-2018 school year effective immediately.
L.5. Approve Permission to Hire
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education authorizes the Superintendent to hire a Girls Basketball Coach(s) for the 2017-2018 school year with a stipend of $3,563.
L.6. Approve Home Instruction Tutors
RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves Mrs. Laura Burke and Mrs. Christine Haffling  as Home Instruction Tutors for student #18053, for a total of 10 hours per week for approximately 3 weeks at an hourly rate of $43.99 each beginning October 18, 2017.

N.2. Approve Summit Speech Services
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education approves Summit Speech School for Teacher of the Death Services for the 17-18 school year in the amount of $155.00 per hour.
N.3. Rescind Transportation
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent the Holland Township Board of Education rescinds the transportation costs and routes for the 17-18 school year.
