IV. Fab Lab Grant
Presenter:
Randy Guttenberg, Tim Schell, Greg Benz
Description:
We have been exploring options for updating part of our high school technology education space to serve as a Makerspace or Fab Lab.  The state has opened a round of grant funding for Fab Labs and applications are due on January 22.  At a base level of implementation, we would envision matching possible state grant funding with reallocations in instructional programs and community donations.  A higher level of updates to these spaces could happen with additional district funding.  The grant application requires a Board resolution.  Greg Benz, Randy, and Tim would like to update you on our study process and program model.
