4. PUBLIC HEARING - The Nueces County Hospital District ("District") Board of Managers ("Board") will conduct a Public Hearing on the matter of:

4.A. Mandatory Health Care Provider Participation Program (“Program”) payment rate of six percent (6%) of net patient revenue, which the Board of Managers intends to require of each institutional health care provider located within the Hospital District during Fiscal Year 2026 (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026), together with the proposed uses of the revenue derived from such payments; the Program is authorized by Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 298C, as amended; the mandatory payment is authorized under §298C.051; and the required public hearing has been conducted pursuant to §298C.101.
