VII.B.1. Galena Park ISD will recognize North Shore Senior High School band students Gabriel Marquez, Diego Palacios, and Justin Sandoval for earning positions in the 2026 Texas Music Educators Association All-State Band and Orchestra.

VII.B.2. Galena Park ISD will recognize Alma Villegas, a senior at Galena Park High School, for earning a spot in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s 2026 School Art Auction. Her artwork, “Saddled Up and Ready to Ride,” was chosen from thousands of student entries across the Houston area.

IX.A. Elizabeth Nava, Principal of Galena Park Middle School, will present the Academic Spotlight at the March 2, 2026, board meeting. Ms. Nava will highlight some of the outstanding programs and initiatives at Galena Park Middle School. The presentation will be delivered in video format.
