IX.A. Dr. Seretha Augustine, Senior Director for Student Support Services, will present the Academic Spotlight at the April 11, 2023, Galena Park ISD Board of Trustees Meeting. Dr. Augustine will highlight the GPISD Aspiring Counselor Academy. The presentation will be in video format.
X. REPORT
X.A. Adrian Stephens, Board President, will report on Galena Park Independent School District Board Members' continuing education credits.
X.B. Harold “Sonny” Fletcher III, Senior Director for Facility Planning and Construction, will provide a 2016 Bond Program construction update.
XI. NEW BUSINESS - ACTION
XI.A. Consider approval to delegate authority to the Superintendent or designee to accept settlement against Texas Association of Public Schools Property and Liability Fund (TAPS) and receive payment offer for the outstanding claims.
XI.B. Consider approval of the changes to appointed election staff and proposed hourly rates for election judges and clerks hired by Galena Park ISD for the May 6, 2023 Board of Trustees Election.
