Opportunity for Comments from the Public on the 2023 Payable 2024 School Tax Levy

Included with your board materials this evening is the information and recommendation for taxes that were levied in the fall of 2023 payable and will be collected in 2024 providing district revenue for SY2024-2025.

Roseau County mailed a notice of proposed property taxes to all property owners.  Under state law, ISD 676 must conduct a public meeting to receive citizen input regarding the levy proposal. As part of the public meeting, the District is required to review its proposed 2023 Payable 2024 tax levy and its current budget for SY2023-2024.

The School Board is scheduled to take final action in regard to the tax levy 2023 Payable 2024 later on the agenda for tonight's Monday, December 11, 2023 Regular Meeting.
