13.B. Approve the Career and Technical Education Teacher Exchange Agreement with Rochester Public Schools and the Memo of Understanding with DEEA
Description:
Last month, we discussed a partnership with Rochester to have access to 27 new career and technical education courses through a teacher exchange program.  We have the shape of an agreement, now, and will be meeting with Rochester shortly to finalize it.

13.C. Concurrent Enrollment Memorandum of Understanding
Description:
We are also finalizing the language of a MOU to address the benefit we would be offering to
teachers who could teach a concurrent enrollment course at D-E Schools. Teachers who
teach college credit courses in high school must have a master’s degree + 18 graduate
credits in their area of discipline.

     a. Elementary Special Education Instructor KATE VICKNAIR at the end of the school year;
     b. Cook's Helper MAELENE TJEPKES. 
2)  Accept Hires:
     a.  CADY BATZEL as Instructional Assistant;  (replaces Jessica Webeck)
     b.  RACHEL BURT as Instructional Assistant;  (fills a need)
     c.  KAYLA BRIGGS as Instructional Assistant:  (replaces Linsay Hameister)
     d.  ALLISON BENIKE as Girls Who Code Coach.; (new)
     e.  ROSE CONWAY and ALISSA ECK as Cook's Helpers;  (replaces Maelene Tjepkes and fills need)
     f.   JOHN CHESNEY as Van Driver;
     g.  REBECCA PETERSON as Long-Term Instructor Substitute.
3)  Accept Donations: 
     a.  $379 from PATT for 3rd grade field trip;
     b.  $300 from FAITH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH for the Food Service Angel Account;
     c.  $500 from EYOTA AMERICAN LEGION for the Washington, DC trip;
     d.  $200 from ROGER BUCK to Yearbook
