Description:
Current Fleet:
2018 (Spare) LP (OWN)
2004 (Spare) Diesel (OWN-does not run)
2021 LEASE Last Payment Year of Lease October 2023
2018 LP and 2022 LP  LEASE Last Payment for Lease July 2024

Option 1:  Purchase Used Now
Options of Availability:
2016 LP 77 Passenger 60k miles $59,900
2018 Gas 71 65-75k miles 53,900.  (I don't think this is a good option)

Option 2:  White Bus:
Must meet standards of a school bus.  Not all white buses are certified for these standards.  Currently, difficult to find, there are no used ones because there is such a delay in the new ones (can take the old one from district, if they don't have one to replace).

Option 3:  Electric Bus:
There will be a grant in January which would cover the cost of an electric bus for districts like us.  We will need a bus to trade, so it may be in our best interest to keep Old #4 on the lot until we have more information.  There is no guarantee we will receive this grant.

Option 4:  Do Nothing
We do have a spare bus.  This current issue, this bus is currently in the shop.  We can get by in the meantime, but doing nothing would mean anytime a bus is in the shop we have no backups.   The biggest problem arises in fall and spring when we have sporting events that need to leave before buses return to campus.
