G. Sanitation Services   ACTION
Description:
M&T Disposal has notified us that sanitation services will increase from $200 to $650 per month.  We have reached out to Republic Services for a proposal.  Republic Services has provided two proposals.  The first one is for M-F picking with a four-yard container for $300 per month and the second proposal is for MWF pickup with a 6-8 yard container for $250 per month.  These prices take into consideration we only need pickup on MWF during the summer.  I have spoken with Dee and she feels the four-yard with a M-F pickup would better meet our needs.  I would recommend approving a three year contract with Republic Services for M-F pickup at a rate of $300 per month.

H. Round 1 Maintenance Grant Approval     ACTION
Description:
I will bring back the formal grant for approval in February.  I want to have further discussion on how to proceed.  I can only create one application in which I must identify the state code at the start of the application.  Many of our projects fall under different codes.  For example, security would be considered a permanent improvement project while the flooring may be considered a HLS project (trying to get that into our 10 year HLS).  I think we may be better served to address issues which will be included in the HLS report as these are more likely to get funded over the other areas.  Secondly, the other areas in need would not be in the same category.  My thought would be to proceed with cafeteria flooring and/or gym/locker room windows.  I am not sure on pricing but the gym/locker room windows could possibly exceed the amount distributed.  So, we could also just do gym windows wait for a second round and do the locker room windows.
