G. Gym Door Replacement   ACTION
Description:
I have received two quotes for replacement of the exterior doors in the gymnasium.  One was significantly cheaper than the other quote.  I would recommend that we hire security door and hardware to supply new frames (2), door leaves (4), vertical transoms (2), panic devices (4), closures (4), continuous hinges (4), thresholds (2) and perimeter weathering stripping (2 sets) for the sum of $8700.
4MC will then remove the existing door systems completely, install 2 new door systems and paint all door frames and leaves for the sum of $5050.
The total costs for labor and material to replace both damaged door systems and pain the new doors/frames would be $13,750.  This cost includes the removal of the existing damaged doors.

There is no question, both sets of doors are in desperate need of repair.

H. ALICE Training Institute Agreement   ACTION
Description:
I would like to move forward with training all staff on ALICE and becoming a certified district.  This training would ensure that our staff can properly respond to an intruder within our district.  The training would be provided from our local ALICE trainer.  The training will include a three hour live scenario and an online training. Additionally, we are working to review and update our emergency procedures for all emergency situations.  The agreement is for three years and will cost $600 annually based on the number of employees.  Fund 80 would be used to support the training.   I would highly recommend we move forward with this agreement.
