7.D. Out-of-State Field Trip by LSHS Media Productions to Skills USA National Leadership & Skills Conference and Competition in Atlanta, GA.

Lake Shore High School Media Production students will travel to Atlanta, GA to participate in the Skills USA National Leadership & Skills Conference and Competition taking place on June 23-28, 2025. The students will create a production based on a client prompt through the 3 stages of production under a specific time limit.
Overnight accommodations will be at the Omni Atlanta Hotel, 190 Marietta St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30303. Phone number is 404-659-0000. Flights will be arranged through Delta airlines. Itinerary is attached. District approved permission slips, that include full medical information will be used. |

7.E. Out-of-State Field Trip for Esports Showcase in Beloit, WI.

Description:
Lake Shore Public Schools 8th & 9th grade Esports students will travel to Beloit, Wi to participate in the Eclipse Scholastic Esports Showcase national competition taking place on May 30 - June-1, 2025. The students will experience competition outside of known locations, collaborating with new people, using communication skills needed to effectively compete on a large stage.
Competition takes place at the Eclipse Center, 1701 Riverside Drive, Beloit, WI 53511. Overnight accommodations will be at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Beloit, 3022 Ford Street Beloit, Wisconsin 53511. Students will be traveling with their parents. Additional information and itinerary is attached. District approved permission slips, that include full medical information will be used. |

7.F. Resolution for review and approval of the proposed Macomb Intermediate School District budget

Description:
Whereas, Section 624 of the Revised School Code requires that "Not later than June 1 of each year, the board of each constituent district, shall adopt a board resolution expressing its support for or disapproval of the proposed intermediate school district budget..." Whereas, Lake Shore Public Schools, is a constituent district of the Macomb Intermediate School District ("MISD"). Whereas, the Board of Education of Lake Shore Public Schools during a public meeting has reviewed the proposed MISD budget for the next fiscal year. Now, therefore, be it resolved as follows: 1. The Board of Education of Lake Shore Public Schools, expresses its approval of and support for the MISD’s general fund operating budget for the next fiscal year. 2. The Board of Education of Lake Shore Public Schools directs its secretary to forward this resolution to the secretary of the MISD Board of Education. |
